Great Erget - Bad Hair Day

The Great Egret. The Great and Snowy Egrets were slaughtered to near extinction by plume hunters in the late 1800s. The National Audubon Society was created as a result. This image was captured at a lake in Arizona in 2024 on a bad hair, err feather day!
